Can't install .NET 2.0 beta 1 for x64

I just received my Athlon 64 machine, and I was looking forward to trying
this new .NET 2.0 on it. Problem is it won't install. it "crashes" (I get a
crash report window, but he setup keeps working) at the
Microsoft.VisualBasic.vsa.dll and then uninstalls everything back.

Anyone?
