I don't have the original XP disc. I keep getting error messages concerning a
mouhid.sys file. I already got conned to the tune of $20 by RegCure. How can
I fix this without spending more money?

I keep a copy of the i386 directory from my installer CD, and
there is a mouhid.sys in the "driver.cab" file. Do you have
a "driver.cab" on the computer somewhere ?

I've also got a driver.cab on my C: drive. It is 62,720,038 bytes,
and there is a copy of mouhid.sys stored inside it.

Use the search on your computer and look for "driver.cab"
