My PC tells me that it successfully downloads and installs the Silverlight
update KB960353. However, when I shut down or restart my PC, the update
process goes into an endless loop. After 8 hours of reading "Updates are
being installed (1of1)", and "Do not turn off or unplug your computer. It
will turn off automatically", I gave up and re-botted. The system ar re-boot
tells me that I have critical updates to install.....KB960353. I start over
and the results are the same. I had a lot of problems installing the original
Silverlight, requiring seven calls and fourteen emails to MS support. I run
XP-SP3. Any assistance is appreciated.
