My son has several games that my pc will just not let me
install. I have Windows 2000 Professional, and the discs
all say Windows 95. Is that the problem? When I try to
install, the error reads "cannot locate SETUP.EXE, then it
goes on in computer language about dll and some other
files not found. Has anyone had this problem, and can
anyone fix this problem? It would make a 3 yr old boys day.

You have the right idea, some windows95 programs will not
run on w2k, due to the change in the HAL. You may have to
get an older pc and setup w95-98 on it, so you can play
games..

I have to agree that some older games will not work win
Win2000, I have the same thing, another alternative than
getting another pc is to download "Virtual PC" from
www.connectix.com, that way you can install win95\98 on
the same pc and then you little lad can play his games.
You would just boot up as normal and switch between the
different op systems
