Thanks--There may have been load issues involved in your experience--I know
I've seen some other reports of problems at some unspecified time in the
recent past--and they might well correspond to your problem.
There are some legit download sites--majorgeeks, filehippo, for example,
that also have links to Windows Defender downloads. I'm not sure how they
work, given the WGA restriction, but they are legit alternative sources.
