This started happening about less than a week ago,
whenever i try to install anything in windows xp, the
progress bar always stops forever, i've had this computer
with XP for a really long time and even something similar
never happened to me. I'm not sure whether the problem is
with the windows xp itself or it might be a problem with
installshield in which case i can't find a
reinstallation, or the windows installer which i also
don't know how to fix. Also i am unable to reinstall
windows because i will lose much important data that i
cannot make backup for.

Thank you for trying to help but, apparently it only
stops when InstallShield is used, but the windows
installer is fine. But i'm not 100% sure about it.
