When I try to install an application (whether from CD or
download) on a Windows 2000 SP4 server, the installation
fails. At first it was giving me an error
CantCReateEntryPoint (or sometime other messgaes) always
with a reference to KERNEL32.DLL, and at other times, I
don't get a pop-up but the installation simply fails and
the event log shows a Dr. Watson error "The
application, , generated an application error The error
occurred on 02/23/2004 @ 15:45:01.157 The exception
generated was c0000005 at address 00401C6E (<nosymbols>)"
Any help you can offer is great!
