I can install 2000 pro
Error says cant run from dos mode
Have formatted disk.
It asks for floppy when i start computer
I get a c prompt then i type in E:\setup.exe (my cdrom
drive) and it says cant run from dos mode.
WHAT DO I DO

You need to load smartdrv in DOS, otherwise the
installation of win2K will take (almost) forever.

A better option is to boot from your win2K CD: Restart
computer, go into bios (usually by pressing the del or F2
key, set boot from CD, make sure the install CD is in the
drive.
