It works...eventually - could be the file size (abt 780K) and/or that the
file has two extensions .mov & .avi

| Hello,
|
| Here is my site:
http://www.mulliganssoftball.com/blank_template.html
|
| I would like to add video clip. I have a Kodak digital camera that saves
on
| my Win XP my video clips as Quicktime. I have Quicktime Pro also. I want
to
| have a video on my site so people can watch. I would prefer to have them
| control the play controls of the video, or else have an independent link
so
| they visit it on their own.
|
| I can't insert my video clip with Apple Quicktime, and I'm not sure if it
| would be better to have the .mov file to a Win Media Player file.
|
| Anyway --
|
| Here's what I have tried:
|
| Embeding a video
| In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design .
| Position the insertion point where you want to insert a video.
| On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click Video.
| Locate and click the video file, and then click Open.
|
| To view the video, in Page view, at the bottom of the document window,
click
| Preview.
|
| I can't get this to work, and when I insert the video I get a little gif
| image of a faulty image.
|
|
| The file format that the movie is in now, is just a trial, and is NOT what
I
| intend on using or doing. I would like to put it up in either quicktime
or
| else WMA (I think)
|
|
| Any suggestions? I have also read other people's problems suggestions in
| the help forum, but am still having difficulty.
|
|
| I thank everyone for their time and input.
