....and you don't need high res. for the web - resize and optimize them
before you import them into FP (don't use FP for this)

| 1) Make sure you actually have a web created and opened in FrontPage.
| 2) File | Import the pictures into a folder (such as images) in your open
| web.
| 3) Then, insert the image on a page from the folder the images was
imported
| into, and save.

||I am using Pub 2002. This morning I scanned some pictures(.jpegs) for a
| doc
|| that I'm creating. I was able to insert those scanned photos into a
|| Publisher, no problem. THen, I tried to insert photos(more .jpegs) from a
|| folder on my computer, but those photos didn't insert. I only get a very
|| small box with a red X in it. These photos are very high res. I can't
| insert
|| any of them.
||
|| The odd thing is that I can insert the photos into Word. I tried opening
|| the photos in MS picture manager, and then cutting and pasting into
|| publisher, but that doesn't work either. I get the same small, small box
|| with the red X in it.
||
|| I found my video driver and updated it. I can't think of anything else
to
|| do. Any thoughts?
