I have a video on my desk top computer, in my videos. When I try to import it
into Windows Movie Maker I get the following message:The file C:\Documents
and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Videos\Video_DAir01.wmv is not indexed and
cannot be imported.

What is the problem, is the video protected in some way? How can I over come
this problem?

see the Import Movie Source Files > Video > WMV page of my website.... it
has a section about re-indexing
