Care to give some details, so we know what you're talking about?

Spaces where: in the text contained in the cell, or in the field names
specified on the first row? How are you importing: through the File | Get
External Data menu option, using the TransferSpreadsheet method in VBA, or
using the TransferSpreadsheet action in a macro? Do you get any error
messages? If so, what are they? What versions of Access, Excel and, for that
matter, Windows?

I want to import it in my table having charge_amt field using the
Select...Into statement...Is there any way I can import it without removing
the spaces.
