can't get xp to see usb compact flash reader

can some one help me to have windows xp see my usb
reader? I have a Delken Devices V12 reader with a 256MB
card. I can't get xp or my computer to see it. Went to
the Delken site and it says I don't need a driver with xp
and only provides a win98 driver. Thanks
