I'm trying to upgrade the WIN98 OS on my Pentium III
Gateway to WIN XP Pro and wanted to start with running the
Upgrade Advisor to see what compatibility problems I face.
To do this, I ran the i386\winnt32 /checkupgradeonly
utility from the WIN XP System CD that came with my new
Dell Dimension computer.
The Upgrade Advisor seemed to execute properly but instead
of getting a report displayed on the screen, the utility
simply ended and returned to the desktop without any
report being displayed.
Would appreciate if anyone had any insight as to why this
happened and what I can do to get the HCL report to
display or print.
