were do i start
computer:sony vaio(pcd-)(no cd drive just floppy)
my daughter was playing with my comp AND
a) deleted my files so much it wont start up
says" needstart up disc" wich i don't have
b) "phoenixBios Setuo Utility" comes and asks for a
password i can't remember it

can u help me as iam at a loss

the computer is running win98
i have tried linking the vaio to another laptop,tried
making a backup disc from one to another but never had any
joy.
can u help in any way

1) Stop blaming your daughter. *YOUR* laptop is *YOUR* responsibility -
if you leave it where she can get hold of it then you've only got yourself
to blame.

2) If it's running Windows 98 why are you posting here?! This is a
*hardware* group for *Windows XP*.

3) Contact Sony - there's nothing MS can do about OEM-supplied software.
That responsibility lies with the OEM.
