Can't get windows xp repair to work, help needed

I'm having trouble using windows xp repair. It asks me
for the administrator password which I assume is the
administrator profile and I enter the correct one but it
says its not valid. I also tried entering the supervisor
and user password from setup but neither worked as well.
What password does repair want?
