i've got a windows xp home install with all windows updates running windows
media player 10. it won't see a samsung yp-t7j mp3 player. the player
appears in the device manager. i've removed all apps from the system. i've
uninstalled the device from device manager and re-installed it. i'm aware of
a problem with activesync causing problems but to my knowledge activesync
has never been installed on this machine. i installed a clean version of xp
on another hard drive on this system to check the hardware and it worked
fine under the same version of WMP. what to try next? thanks
