Cant get rid of old email provider

      27th Aug 2008
i have changed email provider and have deleted the old one as per
instructions. now, when using send/receive, a popup occurs asking for
password for old provider. it is driving me nuts! pls, can someone help?

Remove the old provider's account.

If this does not answer your question, please provide more info like
your Outlook version, account type, and what the instructions are you
followed.

Thanks Pat, but i have already done that as per email account instructions.
it seems there must be another level of deletion required, and not being an
advanced user, this has eluded me.

btw i am using vista and ms office 2007

That should have done it; there must be something (corrupt) remain
somewhere in the registry.

All I can think of is to delete your mail profile, then create a new one.
