try: right click on the calendar, choose other settings - show time as
clocks.

This advice does not work "try: right click on the calendar, choose other settings - show time as
clocks." I UNCHECKED "SHOW TIME AS CLOCKS" AND IT STILL SHOWS THE CLOCKS.

How can I delete this clock icon after updates add clock icon to calendar items? How do I keep it from coming back each time an update occurs?

WHAT "advice"? Please QUOTE the post you are replying to and reply to the
thread, not start a new one. You are not aware that the "forum" you are
posting to leaches off the Microsoft Usenet Newsgroups in order to make it
look busier than it really is. Those of us (the majority here) who use a
news reader will NOT see the post you are referring to.

Secondly, as we cannot see the previous posts, please give more information,
like Outlook version and any add-ins.
I have Outlook 2007, and when I right-click on the Calendar and choose Other
settings, there is no option to "show time as clocks".

The advice to uncheck "Show time as clocks", of course.
