A PPT was given to me on a disc. When I open it, it automatically goes to
slide view. I would like to view it in normal view, but can't seem to do so.
The only way out of this slide show is to hit Escape, or End slide show from
the menu on the bottom left of the screen. Any suggestions would be so
greatly appreciated.

Open PowerPoint first then use file -> open to open the presentation.
