Thank you Jonathan,
I got it to work, I was able to hook the camera up to the computer using an
Ilink connection, rather than using RCA cables. No I could not hook up to
it using the audio/video wizzard, there is no driver that will work with my
sony vaio computer... It was not a problem with my camcorder, I could
plug any camera into the sony, it should have been independant of camera
selection. I guess my first note was not as clear as it should have been,
I am sorry for the confusion.
I'd rather have gotten it to work without the Ilink connection, I don't like
having to disconnect my external hard drive to connect the camera to the
computer. If you have any ideas on how get it working without Ilink
connection I'd apprecite any info.
take care,
BR
