can't get my microsoft works suite to work after installing windows xp

I upgraded from windows me to windows xp. I can't get my
microsoft works suite to work. How do I get it back in
my computer. It won't let me install. Says I have to
have access. How do I verify that I have it? I have the
numbers on my disc. Please help. Thank you Blanche
