can't get my ballpoint pen working during slideshow, ideas?

it's seems a very basic, yet useful feature to set up, but can't get it to
work even after reading the online help. thank you

Gigi,
Look for the little toolbar, down the bottom when running a slideshow. It
has ballpoint and other tool options.
If the toolbar does not appear, go to Tools - options - view tab - see if
there is a checkmark next to pop-up toolbar.

hi luc, i guess there is a little problem with my ppt version, the thing is
that is see the option "ballpoint pen" but selecting it doesn't do anything.
i tried on a collegues PC and it doesn't work either there. even if i keep
the right mouse buttom pressed. no worries, thanks anyway.

Gigi,
It is a tiny dot I must say if you do not watch closely you could oversee
it.
Maybe it's the color of the ink you use if it's white that could be the
problem.
