It sounds like there may be a 'stuck' email on the server.
Ask your web host (ACM Systems?) if you have webmail access. If not,
go to
http://mail2web.com and log in. Sort the webmail messages by date,
delete all the older ones you already have downloaded, plus one more.
Try Windows Mail again.
Also, make sure your antivirus program is not configured to scan emails.
