I have a pata raid 0 array and a pata hd for backup. I use Apricorn EZ Gig
II for a clone backup. I can access (boot from) the clone after the backup
but when I switch to boot from raid and back to boot from single pata
windows (xp pro) gives me the logon screen but with no logon user icons. It
acts fully functional, waitng for an inpput, but I just can't get past that
point

Try pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete twice, then entering your user name and
password in the Classic Logon.
If that fails, try entering the name "Administrator" as the User name and
password as you set it or try Blank password.
