Can't get list of networked printers

I want my primary computer (running XP Pro) to have access to a printer
that's connected to my secondary computer (running XP Home). The primary
computer is connected to a DSL modem and a router; the secondary computer has
wireless access to the Internet. I've created a wireless network; both
computers do appear to recognize the network. I set "share this printer" for
the remote printer. When I call up the Add Printer Wizard on the primary, I
can get as far as the list of networked computers, but I cannot -expand- the
remote computer name so that I can see and add the remote printer. That is,
when I double-click on the computer icon for the secondary computer, or click
on the + sign next to its icon, I get the "I'm thinking" hourglass for a few
seconds, but no list. Double-clicking the icon or + sign for the networked
primary computer -does- give me a list, but that doesn't help. The printers
in that list are local to the primary and already available. I suspect I need
to do something else on the remote computer to make its printer list
available to the primary, but I haven't been able to figure out what that is.
What might I have missed? Thanks --

Is File & Print Sharing enabled? Are both computers in the same Workgroup?

Solved! I had to tell the firewalls to let the two computers talk with each
other. I use ZoneAlarm rather than XP's firewall, and the Network Wizard
didn't modify ZA when I created the network. A "duh!" moment -- obvious, once
I thought of it.

And, you didn't mention ZA in your original post(s). This caused many of us
to not think that it was a player!
ZA can give a user fits, as you found out. I had similar problems with ZA
some time ago, and every now and then, due to hardware changes or other
issues.

"didn't modify ZA when I created the network. A "duh!" moment -- obvious,
once I thought of it."
