Can't get into any password sites

I can not seem to get into any websites that need
passwords.EXample http://usernameassword@
members.usernet.com.

It gives an error message saying it doesn,t recgonize the
site: Using Netscape have No problems. I didn't have
this problem before: but it Came all of a sudden. Can Not
fihure it out? Any Help

A security update is available that modifies the default behavior of Internet Explorer for handling user information in HTTP and in HTTPS URLs:
