PC 1, XP Pro/SP3 hard wired to 3Com wireless modem/router.
PC 2, XP Home/SP3 wirelessly connected to same. Have run Network Setup Wizard on both, also enabled "Share this folder on the network" on the folders I want to share. Have Zone Alarm Free, Windows firewall turned off, on both PC's and have set up a "Trusted Zone" on each with an IP range of 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.5. Running the troubleshooter in Windows Help I get for PC 1: " Default Outlook Express Mail mail.madasafish.com / mail.madasafish.com PASSED InBoundMailPort = 110 + InBoundMailServer = Different troubleshooter suggested that 2 devices or PC's on the network may have the same name and to change it from Network Connections |
