cant get dvd to play dvd game

whenever i put in the dvd into my pc, i get the message D: is not a win32
application, it is a dvd player with writer capabilites, i tired the dvd game
on another pc and it has no problems to install how do i fix the dvd drives
on the other pc, note it has two dvd drives and both say " 'the drive name'
:is not a win32 application"
