Well I have been playing around with this for a very long time, and it has
come to this.

I made a graduation move that is long and complex. When I go to save it or
make a CD it completes with no errors however on playback the last 1/4
freezes and locks up in Mpeg mode. I have tried to cut the movie in 1/2 and
in 1/4 and save several small mpeg's but it does the same thing. How can I
fix this. I have all updates and have version 2.0.3312.0 and physical memery
of 1,048,048kb

Sometimes...Movie Maker has issues with
MPEG files...have a look at the following articles:

And...you have Movie Maker version 2.0...
the current version is 2.1 and is installed by
default when you upgrade to WinXP SP2 so
apparently you don't have "all updates".
