when i receive messages with attachments and forward them, my friends receive
only the initial text with an empty text file attached. I checked in the
options but could only find the opposite option to disable the attachment
forwarding. How can i enable it or is this by default now? I am able to send
the attachments though through outlook..

If you send yourself a message with an attachment, do you see the same
behaviour? If not, the problem isn't on your end.
