I've been using windowsxp for 2 months. There's a problem
with my computer is that : I cant format floppy dishes
though my floppy dishes are brand new or old ones. My
floppy drive is brand new and installed exactly.
sometime there's a notice : I\O error
what can i do ? thank for your assistance

Sounds like you're A drive isn't connected properly. Take
the computer back to the place you got it from, and get
them to check the connections. This is only if you don't
want to consult the manual for your A drive (if you have
one) and do it yourself.

Can you create a bootable floppy disk elsewhere (www.bootdisk.com) and boot
from it after changing the boot sequence in the BIOS?

If not - you have a problem with the floppy drive, floppy cable or floppy
interface.
If so, then we can look into other possibilities.
