      2nd Apr 2004
have w/xp, wen log on to net,I get a message 'can't find
server' am using broadband so should always be
connected..right?? what does it mean?

Magie,

You should be, yes.

How often do you get this error? Is it for all websites?

Can you ping anything? Can you ping anything by ip address?

Start - Run - "cmd". Into the command window:
1) "ping www.yahoo.com"
2) "ping 66.94.230.33"
