Can't find server

I have 2 computers, a Win 2k, and a new XP home edition, connected thru a
D-Link DI 514. Internet works good on both. Network Neighborhood finds both
when use computers near me. Problem is, the xp will read anything on the
win2k, but win2k can't access the xp files. Get the message "can't find
server" when attempt to open the xp files from the win2k. File sharing is
enabled on both. I have Zone firewall on both, and shutting it down on both
computers doesn't help the problem. I have the xp firewall turned off.
Probably a simple cure for this, but cant find it, need little help
