New Vista on new Thinkpad, works fine. While using Easy Transfer to transfer
data and programs from old XP Thinkpad, had several instances of the program
running for several hours then failing. Did not see any of the old
machine's files on new machine, so tried again with other settings.
Eventually moved most of key data over. Then found many files duplicated
or tripled. Used some utilities to find and delete the ones I could see.
However my new hard drive is now 90% full even though it is 5x the size of
the old one. Cannot "see" all these files using various Windows Search or
other utilities. I think I have a lot of junk that I transferred improperly
with Windows Easy Transfer and I'd like to find it and get rid of it. Any
ideas would be very welcome!
