Can't find find database error A2007 and windows vista

Hi Guys,

Each time I try to open my database I get this error message:

Windows cannot find 'C:\datafile\db1_fe.mdb'. make sure you typed the name
correctly, and then try again.

This seems strange as the database opens yet it does not allow me to do
anything in the database. The database was created in A2002 as a 2000
database now using A2007

Any help would be appreciated.
