XP Pro SP 2 Dell Dimension 4550 - Domain name bakerlawfirm.pa. PC was
originally on WORKGROUP named WORKGROUP and able to see network / share
files, etc. but could not access/see shared printer. I added PC name which
had a space in name to AD and tried to connect to network but no luck.

When network sign on comes up, OPTIONS does not include option for workgroup
or domain. If I try to connect to network via bakerlawfirm.pa I get no domain
controller available. If I leave .pa off domain name I get Multiple
connection to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than
on user name, are not allowed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Might be worth changing name to without spaces.

Check the computer name properties again, and perhaps changing the name to
without space is worth doing at the same time?

What OS is the AD. If it's Windows Server then I would also post this
message into there.

Can you browse the AD server from the problem pc? Can you do
ConnectComputer (assuming SBS is OS of AD)?

AD is WinSvr 2003.

Yes, this PC can browse Server. I have several shortcuts on desktop from D
drive on server.

Thanks for your help.
