Can't Establish Remote Connection

Hello,

I am running Windows XP Home Edition and trying to establish Remote Dersktop
Connection (RDC). I have connected successfully in the past, however, my
neice was playing on the PC and I believe something was deleted related to
Remote Connection. I'm not sure what though.

The error message I am getting is a licensing protocol error message.

I was hoping to uninstall and then reinstall RDC, however I can't as it says
the program is built-in to the PC.

So - how do I uninstall RDC -OR- reestablish connection? Any assistance
would be appreciated.
