I thought the wizard was intuitive, but maybe not. I have a brand new Windows
Vista computer, with Office 2007 Standard installed. When I try to establish
an email account to my wavecable email address, there is a screen with three
tasks, the first of which is Establish Network Connection, which gets a green
checkmark next to it. However, the second task, "Search for
(E-Mail Removed) server settings" fails with a message
indicating that an encrypted connection is not available, and to attempt an
unencrypted connection. However, the search for an unencrypted connection
still results in a "X" for that task, and I am prompted to veryify my setting
and edit them if necessary. Since I have verified and re-verified that I'm
entering the correct email address, I have no real recourse other than to
click on the retry button with the same email adddress that continuously
fails, since it is the CORRECT email address. A few seconds after clicking on
retry, I get a window that says there was a problem connecting to my server.
I have verified that my email server is online and functioning properly (did
this via my wavecable email account on my wavecable webpage). I'm pretty
nonplussed by this.

By posting your real address in a newsgroup, you've guaranteed that you'll
receive viruses and junk mail.
