The use of FrontPage forms requires http publishing to a host that has the
FP server extensions installed and configured.
The forms will not work using FTP and copy and paste.

| Hi,
|
| I have a website created with FrontPage and Published to an ftp server by
| copying and pasting the content instead of using the FrontPage built-in
| publishing feature. Everything is working alright, but each time I try to
| update the site by using the same means (copying and pasting to the
server)
| the forms in the site does not work.
|
| So I tried my favorite method of editing websites, and that is using the
| "Edit with FrontPage" button in the browser window, which prompts you for
the
| user name and password. But the problem is if I provide the user name and
the
| password (the same account I use to access my files on the ftp server) it
is
| never accepted.
|
| What I want to know is that, is there any other method I can use to edit
the
| site without breaking the extensions there by making the forms useless?
|
| Thank you in advance.
