Try running Outlook one time with the /resetnavpane switch to see if it sorts your folders out.
Or you could just try a new mail profile to see if something is bollixed up in your current profile.

After furious head scratching, Thomas Baker asked:
| Here's another clue. The mail folders that I can't drag mail into are
| also appearing in the "contacts", "calendars" and "tasks" panes, but
| as mail folders. I'm totaly confused.
|
| I have run scanpst.exe on the file but nothing changed.

|||| When I try to drag a message from my Outlook Inbox to another mail
|||| folder, I
|||| can drag it to most folders but not all. When I try to drag it to
|||| some folders, a symbol appears (international road sign
|||| circle-with-slash across
|||| it) blocking it. I can't see any pattern to this. Can anyone
|||| comment on how
|||| to fix?
||||
|||| This has happened only on my new PC where I am running Outlook
|||| 2003 under Windows Vista. Never had this trouble before.
