Can't drag and drop to my recycle bin anymore

's Computer Specifications

I don't know what happened all of a sudden when I drag a file, picture of
folder on my desktop to my recycle bin it takes over a minute to get there
and I can not do anything else on my computer until it moves.
Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated as I often use this.

Just use Right-Click>Delete!
