Have you tried right clicking and dragging to the calendar folder?

After furious head scratching, MWGP asked:
| Normally, when i drag a message and drop it on the calender, the
| cursor will turn to rectangle when it touches calender and when I let
| go the mouse click there, it will open the appointment with message
| filled in automatically. Now, when I drag the message and reach to
| calender tab, it give me no entry symbol and I cant do anything.
