My problem is that when I'm in IE 6.0 (Win XP SP 2) and I click on a zip
file with the intent of downloading it the damn file opens instead(in WinZip
9.0). When I click on the zip file I want it to download rather than open.
How can I go about getting IE 6.0 to download rather open zip files? Or is
this perhaps a WinZip problem?

Instead of clicking on it, try right-click > Save as

In My Computer go to Tools...Folder Options...File Types, scroll down to the
..zip file type, click on it to highlight it, click Advanced, put a check by
"Confirm open after download", okay out.
