Do you happen to have another Graphics viewer program on your machine? If
not, any picture you download should be viewable with Windows viewer. If you
are able to set it as background it is on your hard drive and you can
'associate' it with Windows viewer (which usually is the default setting
unless you have another viewing program(?).. Do this; go to Control Panel,
Folder options and look in File Types... Scroll down to see what program is
used to view 'jpg' files, for example.. You can change the setting so that
Windows default viewer is used to open jpegs, bmp and gif files..
If you have already tried this i don't know what is happening on your PC
that prevents this..
I have ACDSee for viewing all these files and therefore i have to go inot
the Control Panel and associate it with ACDSee, otherwise WIndows Viewer
willopens all those files.. Hope you follow me on this..

> Whenever I right-click a picture, save it to my hard drive, and then try
and open it, there's always an error. It opens in Windows Picture and Fax
Viewer and says "No Preview Available." The only way I can see pictures is
if I set it as my background and then search my C drive for Internet
Explorer Wallpaper, and even then it only opens in Paint. I have a new Dell
Optiplex with Windows XP. Thanks for help.
