I cant seem to download photos from my Samsung SGH-U600 to XP using the USB
lead. When I put the USB lead in I get the sound like something has been
connected and then straight away disconnected even though the lead is still
in. There is no icon in the task task bar. The disc which came with the phone
doesnt seem to help.

You need to note that several cell phone carriers purposely disable the
download features on their offered cell phones. Not sure about your service
or your phone. Please check with the web forums www.howardforums.com for more
details on your phone and carrier.

Are you using a "program" to download? A lot of them are unreliable
especially if your phone was made by Pantech. (Yes they make phones for
Samsung, Nokia, etc.).

I would get a SD Micro Card Reader. You take the card out of the phone, put
it in the reader and stick that into a USB port. My Computer will open the
reader in a temporary drive.

They are very inexpensive. If you can't find one locally, Google for one.
You can also find them on eBay or at The Cell Phone Shop,
http://www.cellphoneshop.net/ , for just a few bucks.

What about the technical support for the phone?
