I cannot get the site that I download music from to work. I have done all the trouble shooting that I can possibly do, and I still cant get it to work. I have Mcafee for firewall protection, and I have even turned that off and the site still can not connect. Any advice would be appreciated.

Possibly, they are having problems with the download site. You don't tell
which one it is so, nobody can try it and see!

The site that I use is Winmx.com I have been having problems with it since last week sometime.

I re-installed Winmx, had it before, and it is working. Since you are behind
a firewall, is it configured to allow Winmx to access the internet? Perhaps
you might try uninstalling and re-installing it.
