When I try to download Adobe Acrobat, my Internet Explorer session ends.
When I contacted Adobe, they told me that it was an Internet Explorer
problem. What do I need to do? I really need Acrobat so that I can read my
pdf files.

Get Firefox http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/products/firefox/

Try Foxit Reader which is much smaller, takes less time to load and is free just
as Acrobat Reader is.

Can't get Acrobat reader from:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Download and install Foxit Reader from here:
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php - works as good or better than
Reader and definitely loads faster.
