Greetings,

I'm not sure where to post this. I used a program called "Windows Install
Clean Up" to help me install a program. Now I have generic ms icons in My
Documents where they should have ms office icons. I went to folders/folder
options/file view and clicked change and then navigated back to ms office
and the original program, but I can only open a file from within and not by
double clicking on it.

Any suggestions?

The documentation that comes with the windows install cleanup utility states
that you may need to reinstall the program that it cleaned up. If you have a
cd for ms office you might try to reinstall it. if however you do not have
the cd you could try some of Doug Knox's file association fixes.
