Hi all, PPT 2007 and Excel 2007 - Vista Ultimate x64

I have a chart created in Excel 2007 which I want to paste special as a link
into a PPT slide, but, I am not being offered the link option. only the
paste option. I have done this several times before without a problem, but,
this time it does not want to allow me to link option.

Any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot, what to look at/for would be
appreciated.

Jan

Hi Jan

If you click on the drop down under the paste button on the home tab do you
see paste special? This is where you find the 'paste as link' radio button.

Hi Lucy...yes.....I have the paste special, but, not the link option, only
the paste. Yes, that is where I am seeing the link option button grayed
out.
